Sign-ups for the Dish/Tea Towel Swap are Closed!! Thanks everybody!
The Dish/Tea Towel swap is definitely a go!! You ladies are making me so happy!! I'm so excited that so many of you want to do a dish/tea towel swap!! I think it will be really fun and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
The swap is: two dish or tea towels either new or vintage, if new, they must be embellished by you with whatever you like (embroidery, crocheted lace edging, ruffles, etc.), the story behind the towel (where you found it, any history, why you chose the embellishment you did, etc.) and a recipe (or more than one if you have more you'd like to share!). I know all of you are amazingly creative and have incredible taste, so I know these will be lovely!
So, here's what we'll do:
1. Sign-ups will be from now until August 15th
2. To sign-up, please e-mail me your address, e-mail and blog (if you have one) as well as if you are willing to ship internationally to wrensnestdesigns@yahoo.com
2. You will receive your swap partner information on or before Sept. 1 (I'll figure out a random way to draw the names and pair you up)
3. Please plan to send out your towels, story and recipe to your swap partner by October 15th.
For those of you who have already unofficially signed-up, thank you and I'll just need your addresses (since I have your e-mails and blogs). I am also working on a little sidebar button (we'll see...) and on having a Flickr group where we can display all the wonderful towels that we'll be sending and receiving.
If I've missed anything or you have any questions, please e-mail me - I'll do a reminder post closer to the 15th - thanks for playing!!
