Isn't this a great idea? I love Rebecca's blog and when I read this entry, I thought it sounded like something I should try. John is taking the kids skiing this weekend and with all the auction stuff going on, I'm not going to go (I don't ski anyway, so really it's not a big deal). In the last few weeks in the lead up to the auction (which is March 8), I don't think (aside from when I worked) that I have EVER talked on the phone, e-mailed and had so many meetings. It's sort of exhausting - physically and mentally, so a day where I just unplug sounds like a big relief. I'm going to do it this Saturday - no e-mail, no phones, no tv (well, I may watch an old movie or some of the PBS Jane Austen's that I've tivoed, but I can do handwork while I do those). I'd like to read, sew (on stuff I've been wanting to get to for a long time), maybe knit a little. We'll see...
So, if you're feeling tired and overwhelmed - maybe unplugging and then blogging about the stuff you accomplished on that day is right up your alley. Check out Rebecca's blog to get the scoop!

jackie - this really inspired me. i printed out all of Rebecca's ideas and placed them next to my computer so i can see them and moniter myself and my time online. thanks!!! hope you are well.
