Good morning and thanks to everyone who has given me their swap info - I'll e-mail you to confirm I have it. I'll be taking sign-ups until 8/15, so if you know anyone else who might like to play, please send them on over - the more, the merrier!!
I'm sooo excited that I was able to order THESE cuties yesterday. I've been visiting the Wee Wonderful blog since I started blogging (like 6 weeks ago) and ordered her put-together book (though I haven't made anything from it yet) and had been admiring these cutie embroideries she's been doing of cute little girls. Everytime I commented, I think, I kept asking if she was going to do patterns for them - I guess a lot of people must have asked because she released them yesterday. I can't wait to get mine!! They are so sweet. Don't be surprised if your tea/dish towel has one of these little girls on it! (I'm thinking of sending one new and one vintage towel for the swap). Anyway, I was a big dork and was at my computer RIGHT at 10 (PDT) with the page pulled up and the refresh button ready to go. So I was glad I got in on them. It appears that they sold out BUT she is going to do Fall ones, so I'm sure those will be adorable too - looking forward to that since Fall is my favorite time of year!
Another great embroidery pattern source is Vicki at Turkey Feathers, she has a site called Pattern Bee and carries some iron-on transfers that are vintage patterns. I ordered the set that has the designs on the dish towels I've posted that my grammy made - there are a few designs missing from the set, so I thought I'd make those and finish the set. (I'm sure my grandma will get a big kick out of them).
One last thing for today (because, really I do need to finish up some things that are actually DUE - oops, this blogging is so fun, I forgot I need to do other things). I found a link on Cream Puff's site to a site called 101 Cookbooks (don't I wish I had that many!). She has a recipe posted right on the front page for these panini
that are sooo good! We enjoyed them Tuesday night - so easy and very fresh and summery tasting - give them a try. (We gobbled them down so fast I didn't have time to take a picture, but this one from the site is so pretty)
Again, a big THANK YOU to everyone who has (or will) sign-up for the swap. I'm so excited about it! I am working on a button - if anyone has any advice for me on how to do this - let me know!!
If I sign up for the tea towel swap am I guaranteed your towel with the Hilary pattern on it :)
(hehe)

Oh, I can't believe I missed out on those cards! I'm so annoyed with myself for forgetting. I'm so happy you were able to get the set. I would suggest asking Moki (see the link on my blog) about making a button. She has a lot on the side of her blog that I think she has made herself. Tell her I sent you. Joyce from Joyce Makes Art did my banner as a gift because I'm useless with that kind of tech stuff.

I can't believe I lucked out and got Hilary's pattern, too! I didn't even know they were going on sale, because Bloglines isn't updating correctly!
I emailed you about the tea towel swap. ;-)
