I got this quilt back from the quilter on Monday and she did an absolutely amazing job. In one of the shots, I took it close up so you could see her wonderful feather and flower quilting. This was probably the most pieced quilt I've ever done. It's a pattern by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. called Elizabeth. It's very large, so I couldn't really get shots of the whole thing. (I added two extra borders). This line of fabric was one of my favorites ever - it's called Wuthering Heights (lovely, isn't it??). Since it's my truly secret wish to go live on a moor in England - it's appropriate! Just have to trim and bind it - which will take me some time, especially considering I forgot what I wanted to bind it with! It's always fun to get a quilt back - you can forget what they look like in between...
Very beautiful! I am a quilter who has not sewn a thing for a long time. Lose the umph sometimes. But have a room full of gorgeous fabrics that need to be used...I'm sure I will return to it...maybe smaller projects..I tend to get bored and not finish large things...oh well...your quilt is just FAB!

I saw the photo of this quilt over on Flickr and made my way over to your blog - I just had to tell you how much I love it. Your choice of colours and fabrics are gorgeous.

I made the Elizabeth quilt, adding two more rows of stars top and bottom to make a queen size 91x112. My problem is how to quilt it. I have stabilizing quilting along the ditches but would like something more. I do my quilting on a Janome 6500. Any suggestions?
