Love, Love Jackie. Wow.. I just finished my burlap banner from all the left over I had. Your bed skirt is Gorgeous and the pillows too. I Love it although it made my eyes nuts and my throat close up a bit when I was cutting and working with it for 2 hrs last weekend, LOL.. the price you pay I guess, Jamie
Oh Lovely! Thank you for sharing your love of burlap. It is stirring my old feelings of love for burlap. I had ADORED using burlap in my sewing projects. But sad to say, I fell away.
Thank you!
Minta
P.S. I came by way of Chantel's blog at nestinginspokane.blogspot.com
LOVE it. I'm just in the beginning phase of my love, but it grows each and ever day. I think I'm going to need to buy some to use here in this house. Hmmm.
The burlap is so great in every instance you've used it. Love the look - I especially love it on the pillows and the curtains. You have such great taste!
oh so do i! when i go and buy it they call me the burlap lady (i taught them that word - here it is called hessian but i much prefer burlap). i am about to make a tree out of it for a spring window - there will be photos!
These are fantastic. I had this divine pair of chuck taylors in high school made out of burlap.... they smelled awful, but they were my absolute favorite shoes. -e
Me too!!! I have it on pillows and even the curtains in my kitchen and library! Love that bedskirt of yours!!!!

Love the rustic charm of the burlap and the combination with the checked print. I would love to place burlap runners on our antique dining tables.

Is the burlap scratchy? I love the look, but think of the pokey nature of it and I'm put off. Love all your pretty pictures.

love natural textures...how was it to sew with?
I have only used my mom's no sew tape to play around with embellishing and making things and it's great:)
Have a great weekend!
