Who knew? My creative ADD continuing - I'm having an amazing time learning metalsmithing!! I'm taking an online class from Stephanie Lee (who's work is so beautiful - it's incredible and she's a great teacher).
I was working in the garage - you know, the flame and all, but it was too sad out there, so I moved it all to my rearranged studio and am soldering in the sunshine now!

Starting with this...
Flooding them with solder (using my little blow torch - yikes!)
and then making bezels, either out of copper pipe that I cut or a square bezel that I make out of brass strips. Now, these are first tries and my square ones definitely leave something to be desired (like being straight), but it's so fun and the possibilities seem endless (once I get the basics down).
