Ethereal Bangles

I just finished up a really fun online class with Kristen Robinson called Ethereal Bangles. She also had a great article about the same bracelets in a Belle Armoire Jewelry issue. I learned a lot and made these very fun bracelets!! It's so great to be able to customize bracelets to fit your wrist size! She's teaching an etching class in January -so head to her blog and sign up - I'm sure it'll be great too!

I love them all and they're fun to wear all at once (they're not too big - ok, maybe the ribbon one needs to be worn by itself, but the rest can all go together.)

What I've been up to

So, I took an inadvertant little blog break. I think I just didn't have too much that I wanted to share. Do you go through times like that? So, for the 5 of you still reading (and I thank you) - here are some pictures of what I've been keeping busy with...

I took an amazing class down in lovely Pismo Beach a few weeks ago with Diana Frey and Riki Schumacher who were the most fun teachers and the women in the class were great - I had a fabulous couple of days!! Here's what we made:

These cuffs were so fun to make (and challenging too!). They are teaching another class in Feb that will be just as amazing (unfortunately, I will be helping with our school auction the same weekend).

I've also been using the bezels I made during the Homesteader Metalsmithing class - filling them with artwork, adding resin and making necklaces and bracelets with them - I LOVE making these pieces! I'm all signed up for part 2 of metalsmithing coming up next week and I can't wait!

Not quite sure what I'll do with all of this jewelry, but a girl can never have too much, right? More later - thanks for stopping by - happy weekend!!
