Nesting

I think I'm just going to ignore that fact that I haven't posted here in almost a year and jump right in and start from now. Sound good?

November is a nesting month. Rain and cold make me want to just cook soup, bake pumpkin bread, gather up the quilts and watch old movies. Maybe that's one of the reasons I'm motivated to start up here again - nesting. I love autumn and winter and maybe I want to share some of that cold weather goodness with you.

Another reason might be that I am honored to be a Guest Designer at Jeanne Oliver's beautiful Creatively Made Home class. I did a little video where I got to share all about what my home means to me and how I like to make my house a home. I could really get into that imovie stuff, so maybe a little video sharing might happen here. (Maybe not, but we'll see).

Another reason might be that I sort of miss blogging and connecting with you. Not that there's gobs of people still reading this, but blogs are a chance to say more than you can on Facebook or Instagram (I love both of those and Pinterest, but it's not the same).

I still read many of your blogs and love seeing the aboslutely mind blowing beauty being created every day! It's so inspriational and makes me want to join in the fun - share some words and photos and reconnect during this nesting, cozy time of year.
